Unless some other method is preferred, USU AG recommends the use of a systems development model such as the V-Model. The processes formulated and products described in the V-Model have proven to be very suitable and effective for achieving project goals. USU AG has the requisite experience in all four of the V-Model's submodules: Software development (SWD), quality control (QC), configuration management (CM) and project management (PM).

Furthermore, USU AG also proposes to create all project products and results in accordance with the guidelines specified by the V-Model. In close consultation with the client, right at the beginning of the project the V-Model can be customized through a tailoring process to conform to the specific project objectives and tasks, and then be used as a basis for all additional modules.

For projects of a magnitude requiring it, USU AG already has a largely preconfigured model based on the current version "V-Modell XT" in place and ready for use. As an alternative, we can also apply a model specified by the client with its own result types.
