For the first time, the USU product suite Valuemation has been recognized by a US independent market research company as a "strong performer" in IT Service Desk Management

The results of the latest analysis by the international market research company Forrester have, for the first time, included USU among the world's leading providers in the area of IT Service Management in the April 2008 report The Forrester Wave: Service Desk Management Tools, Q2 2008.
The results of the latest analysis by the international market research company Forrester have, for the first time, included USU among the world‘s leading providers in the area of IT Service Management in the April 2008 report The Forrester Wave: Service Desk Management Tools, Q2 2008.

Forrester analyst and Vice President Chip Gliedman writes in the report that USU along with 6 other vendors is a "competitive option for organizations with between 2,500 and 8,000 employees or those with less demanding workflow or scalability requirements. [Its] product can be implemented more easily than those of their larger competitors and, depending upon requirements, may be the best choice for some of the largest organizations. All of these vendors have reference customers among the largest of corporations."

The bar for inclusion in the evaluation was set very high; worldwide, only 13 providers were invited to take part in the Forrester Service Desk Management Wave. The participating software manufacturers were subjected to a rigorous, in-depth examination of their current offerings, strategy and market presence and evaluated according to 96 criteria. In the Wave for "large or complex organizations", USU was recognized as a "strong performer". In the second Wave, for "smaller firms with less complex needs", USU was also named a "strong performer"

The Forrester report, called the "The Forrester Wave™: Service Desk Management Tools, Q2 2008", was released on April 7, 2008.
